The Property

Castell Courtyard is an extremely spacious, luxury barn conversion set in the rolling countryside of the Tanat Valley. Carefully restored and retaining many original features, the barns have been skilfully renovated by local craftsmen, providing a purpose-built, luxury holiday home in a wonderful setting - perfect for groups of friends and families wishing to spend quality time together.

Entrance, Kitchen, Dining Room

Upon arrival you will find ample private parking with a path leading down to the barns. Step inside and you will enter into a light-filled galleried hall with stunning mezzanine balcony above. The contemporary open-plan layout then leads to the spacious dining area with two generous oak dining tables seating up to 24 guests, opening into the beautifully-appointed kitchen; granite worktops, ample carefully planned working areas and a large central island unit with breakfast bar seating truly make this a ‘dream-kitchen’ which is a lovely space in which to mingle and chat over a cup of coffee. All ‘must have’ appliances are at your service, along with the finest table and glass ware should you wish to create the ‘wow’ factor for a special celebratory meal.

Sitting Rooms

Two steps lead down into the comfortable sitting room, which provides a welcoming seating area with wood burner, along with Freeview TV, and large enough to seat up to 20 if required.

A second sitting room with a wood-burner provides a great relaxing area for adults and children alike, with a further Freeview TV with standard Sky TV package, plus an additional gaming TV and console.

Bedrooms

The barn offers eleven stylish bedrooms, with six beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms and a further three family bathrooms. The accommodation is spaciously spread across three wings, accessed by three separate staircases - ensuring ample privacy for all guests. You will also find an easily accessible down-stairs bedroom and wet-room should this be a particular requirement.

Outside Area

For many of our guests, the superb luxury hot tub is a great favourite, together with a covered entertainment area - the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of bubbly. Take every opportunity to enjoy the generous private grounds around the barn with sheltered patio area, gas BBQ and a large terraced sun-trap patio with sunken lawn, where you can simply relax and enjoy the delightful views whilst children play safely.

Nearby Attractions

During lambing season we welcome those wishing to help bottle-feed the lambs, greatly enjoyed by young and old alike! Doorstep paths lead out into unspoilt countryside and the nearby village where you can visit the scenic waterfalls or enjoy the traditional atmosphere in the local pubs.
