Welcome to Castell Courtyard, a large self-catering barn conversion, situated on our 430-acre working farm in the heart of North Wales in the Tanat Valley. Life is very much a family affair here and we are very proud to be the fourth generation farming at Castell. We made the decision to convert these beautiful stone barns in 2009 when at that time, they were used to store hay and straw for our livestock and shelter young lambs in springtime. Several years later, after many long hours and much debate over colour schemes... we are proud to welcome visitors to what we feel, is a very special place. It's always a pleasure to welcome groups of friends and families to Castell Courtyard, to enjoy the space, tranquility and beautiful fresh air the stunning Welsh countryside offers.

Castell Courtyard is an extremely spacious, luxury barn conversion set in the rolling Welsh countryside of the Tanat Valley. Carefully restored and retaining many original features, the barns have been skilfully renovated by local craftsmen, providing a purpose-built, luxury holiday home in a wonderful setting - perfect for groups of friends and families wishing to spend quality time or celebrate special occasions together.

During lambing season we welcome those wishing to help bottle-feed the lambs, greatly enjoyed by young and old alike! Doorstep paths lead out into unspoilt countryside and the nearby village where you can visit the enchanting waterfall, Pistyll Rhaeadr, or enjoy the traditional atmosphere in the local pubs.

We do hope that we can extend a warm Welsh welcome - or ‘Croeso’ as we say here - to you very soon.
